Rockbox Player
syncing to Apple devices is easy. Use iTunes! OK... since you use foobar2000 and found that page you know that there is better software to maintain your audio collection.But sorry, there is NO direct native/support for Apple devices!
I use Rockbox media player on my Ipod Video 60GB because I like the hardware but I do not like iTunes.
If you decide to use Rockbox player just sync your audio with FoobarSync like you would do with an USB-Stick.
